Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport then drive to Tarangire National Park

Today, after breakfast at your accommodation in Zanzibar, our driver-guide will pick you up at 6:00 am and drive to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Arusha Airport. Upon arrival at Arusha at 9:15 am, you will meet our driver-guide after a short briefing for your safari. He will pick you up and start a magical journey to Tarangire National Park for a game drive while carrying a picnic lunch box. Once the game drives are done, he will drive you to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds. The park consists of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. It is possible that you will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking its prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

Activity of the Day: Wildlife game drive/ Accommodation: Escarpment Luxury Lodge Manyara

Day 2: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater then return to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar

After breakfast, you will depart for Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. When the game drive finishes, you will drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.

This park is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world. It is one of the natural wonders of Africa. With the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round (such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos) and many varieties of birds (such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards), be ready to see many animals here within a short time.

Once we finish the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar.
