Overview

This 4-day safari gives you a chance to witness Big Five animals and other interesting animals. You will see wild animals up close and take photos of the wonderful landscapes of Tanzania and Enjoy beautiful natural environment. All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha. Enjoy full board on safari, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of the jeep with mineral water, power sockets, binoculars and air conditioning (AC).

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from airport to Tarangire National Park

Apon arrival at Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides after a brief introduction about your tour. Our tour guide driver will start a wonderful game drive in Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish game drive, we drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and icon giant baobab Trees consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands which is the only source of water for wild animals here during the dry season. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

Activity of the Day: Wildlife game drive/ Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge

Day 2: Transfer from Manyara to Serengeti National park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park on a game drive and enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the lodge or Camp for relaxation, dinner and Overnight stays.

However, it is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year.

In November and December, the animals move from the northern region, dominated by woodlands and hills, to the grassy plains of the south (Ndutu Area). During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return to the north. Apart from the migrating herds, you might have the chance to see predators, such as leopards, cheetahs and lions.

Day 3: Transfer from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, our tour guide driver will pick up from your Lodge While carrying Lunch boxes and depart to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater is among of UNESCO world heritage site in Africa and is one of the Natural wonders of Africa which constitutes the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, with the presence of about 30,000 large mammals resident all year round such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs and rhinos and many varieties of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be ready to see many animals here within a little time.

Day 4: Transfer from Karatu to Lake Manyara National park then back to ARK/JRO

Today, wake up early and after breakfast we will transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive while carrying picnic lunch box.

Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its legendary tree climbing lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park. Also, here you will be able to explore huge number of different bird species like flamingos in Soda Lake and hippos.
